                   AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND CHATTANOOGA CITY CODE, 
                   PART II, CHAPTER 25, BY ADDING A NEW SECTION 
                   25-40, RELATIVE TO CRIMINAL IMPERSONATION.
                   
                   
                                                     
                   
                   
       	    	 BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF 
       CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE:
       	    	 SECTION 1.  That Chattanooga City Code, Part II, Chapter 
       25, be and is hereby amended so as to add a new Section 25-40 as 
       follows:
            Sec. 25-40.	   Criminal impersonation.
            
            	 It shall be unlawful for any person, with the 
            intent to injure or defraud another person, to assume a 
            false identity, pretend to be a representative of some 
            person or organization, pretend to be an officer or 
            employee of the government, or pretend to have a 
            handicap or disability.
            
       	    	 SECTION 2.  That this ordinance shall be effective two 
       (2) weeks from and after its passage as provided by law.
